Guided Tours

As in most museums, a visit is most rewarding when accompanied by a local guide. They know the museum through and through, share fascinating stories, and tailor the visit to suit your group’s interests.

Our guides can offer deep insights into both the life and works of Juhan Liiv, as well as what rural life was like at the beginning of the 20th century. If you wish, you can also take a guided walk through the surrounding landscapes that inspired Juhan Liiv. You can choose to focus on a single exhibition or get an overview of the entire museum.

A guided tour of the museum lasts at least one hour. It’s best to allow about an hour and a half for your visit.

The guided tour fee is added to the ticket price. Tour in Estonian €25, in English €35.

Student groups can visit the museum free of guide charge. Only tickets need to be purchased.
